Murrietas Mexican Food in Sparks

Food is good but the employees act like you are a distraction to their day. I knew there was a reason why I haven't been here since January of this year. It is funny they remain in business.

Stopped on Way home and ordered to go. 1/2 he later. Get home my nachos were burnt. And gacy was brown. Enchiladas were cold

Delicious as always! They are disinfecting like mad and wearing masks and gloves. It was nice to be able to support one of our fav local restaurants after months of staying home!!

The food and service it absolutely terrific.The three of us sat and enjoyed each other's company for quite a while with no pressure to leave. They refilled our drinks on request and were happy to do so. I highly and happily recommend Murrieta's. 🤠

Spicy pulled pork tacos are to die for on the best of days. However with the great price and amazing staff this is undoubtedly the best place to obtain them while in reno 5/5 would definitely recommend.

The menu offers all the usual Mexican options. The food was good and the portions were filling. The staff was friendly. It looks as if a number of patrons are frequent dinners as the staff seemed to know them. If you’re nearby and are in the mood for Mexican this would by a good option. If you live in town and are looking to change it up a bit this might be a good choice.

Absolutely the best fish taco that I have had, very light batter, perfectly cook fish with a slight hint of garlic. Salsa and chips were good also, salsa and salsa fresca were served.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I don't care which Mexican place you think your favorite is, go to Murrietas. Try the chicharones taco and Murrietas will be your new favorite place. The service is excellent, the prices are great and the house margaritas can't be beat. Their chorizo is also excellent. Definitely our "go to" place.

It was a great visit with a great atmosphere and we were seated promptly and our waitress was kind, cheerful and courteous. The food was outstanding. Delicious! Delicious! Delicious!It's nap time now.

We have been dining regularly at Murrieta’s for 8 years for happy hour until COVID, dinner and family birthdays. Our early dinner experience today at 3:30 so we could get a table outdoors was absolutely terrible as our waitress forgot our order to begin with. We waited for 45 minutes before my husband inquired about our food and had to ask to order more drinks. It took an hour and 10 minutes to get our food. My husband ordered the shrimp tacos which the menu described as beer battered shrimp. Instead he received a small portion of salad shrimp in a fried taco shell with nothing else in it and his beans were cold. I ordered a fish ceviche taco and a side of beans which was good as always. To make up for the delay in our dinner we received a discount on our margaritas. With COVID we don’t go out to eat unless we can eat outdoors and choose wisely where we eat. Thankfully we have many other dining options in the area with great service.

Chicken enchiladas were average. The beans were excellent. The rice had no flavor.

Food was good, margaritas could be better.

Very disappointed with the quality of the food. Used to be one of my favorite go to places but after yesterdays dishes I will no longer be returning. The chimichanga was soggy and very salty. The rice and beans were bland.

We were customers before the shut down, so we were happy to try again post COVID. The service was on point and the food was good as I remember! Of course 2 for 1 margaritas are always good! Glad to see them open again.

Amazing food and amazing service!

Our server, Miguel, was very nice and treated us well. He found out I speak a little Spanish and gave us free ice cream at the end of our meal. 🤗 Besides that, the food was really good, well priced. Chips and salsa provided before the meal for free. Went at about 7:30 on a Thursday night and had no wait.

Food and service is excellent. Even when I can't decide right away I am given all the time I need. Strongly suggest going.

The food and drink are amazing. I would give it five stars but the bartender during happy hour tends to be unfriendly when we come in.

Always amazing and such a hidden gem. From start to finish they make you feel as if you are the only customers in the place.

I’ve been here several times before and the food is normally pretty good. However, this time it was not the case. The chilli reano was soggy and lacking cheese. Pair that with their typical poor service and you’ll have a restaurant no one will be excited to visit. I had to ask for utensils and I wasn’t provided additional water until the end of my meal. I had to eat the ice to help with my thirst. The prices have also increased since COVID-19. You’ll also want to bring your own salt. Other than that it was okay.

Authentic mexican food. Full bar. Patio seating. Mexican food at its finest. A must stop and enjoy when in the area. Gabe it 5 start because it didn't go to 10!

The food is always delicious there. We tried the Anaheim Chilli appetizer and it was great!

Got a huge takeout order, nachos, enchiladas, tacos, beans rice, and so much salsa, and it could not have been better! also amazing margaritas to go! Incredible food, incredible staff!

Obviously spiced with msg. This food is not healthy at all. My daughter’s plate came with chili fries in her burrito and as a side dish. Food for people who have lost their taste buds and don’t care what they put in their bodies. I won’t be going there again.

Oh my God, I went there because a friend recommended it for great food , drove a while to get there with my build up appetite for Mexican food but boy I was tottally disappointed. Frozen chicken wings I returned the dish. Ordered the chief speciall And I wish I had ordered a basic taco instead ate barely half of it , the servers were not so friendly , I got no greeting when I walked In. Over all I'd say i wont go back there anymore.
